Japanese Beetle Treatment

What are Japanese Beetles?

Japanese beetles are native to northern Japan. They were first found in the U.S. in New Jersey in 1916. They have become established in parts of Minnesota.

Why are Japanese Beetles a problem?

The Japanese beetle is a highly destructive plant pest that can be very difficult and expensive to control. Feeding on grass roots, Japanese beetle grubs damage lawns, golf courses, and pastures. Japanese beetle adults attack the foliage, flowers, or fruits of more than 300 different ornamental and agricultural plants.

Will trees survive Japanese beetles?

Although they will seldom kill trees or shrubs, they can slowly weaken them, making them subject to secondary pests and disease.
